Dr Ana M.ª Pereira Rodríguez will be a researcher in the project. She has been teaching Translation from English into Spanish at the Universidade de Vigo (Spain) since 1993. She also teaches subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing to postgraduate students at the MA in Audiovisual Translation in UVigo and in postgraduate programmes at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universidad de Cádiz and Universidad Pablo de Olavide.
Dr. Pereira was the leader of the SUBSORDIG project (76/06 IMSERSO) on subtitling for the deaf, and researcher in many others. She is currently a partner in the EU-funded projects “European Culture” (Erasmus+Programme-Jean Monnet) and “Media Accessibility Platform” (COMM/MAD/2016/04).
